fragile as a broken heart,
it shatters upon the tiniest indent.
you will never know how it would feel
to be on the other end of this sorrowful ordeal.
for you were the one with that one swift motion,
you were the one with that prolonged ignorance.

how long can a person smile,
and smear contentment on themselves like paste.
the incessant voices that speak in my head,
like secrets they whisper for me to hear.
lies, hurt, pain and guilt
anger, resentment all linked with you.

an invention, let there be,
a machine to publish your every dream.
reflect those dreams upon a wall,
stand back, prepare,
now watch them fall.
happily never after after all.

seduction on the side of the foe
teasing, alluring all the more.
as the same as the dreams i had
illusion of what is good and bad
crush, crush, can you hear that sound?
here your tricks come crashing down.

a final step before i go,
there is something you should know.
as with this page the tone did change.
from blanks to rhymes the stanzas came.
so did you change as well,
thank you, for my mind is hell.

the message is but short and sweet,
next time we will ever meet
prepare to have my hand on your cheek
for it is you and you alone
the sin that will never atone

because of you, forever more
i'll never trust again to fall.
